A report to the United Nations on gross violations of human rights by Europol, the European Ombudsman for Human Rights and the Hague police.

Published on December 9, 2025

Having exhausted all administrative resources in Slovenia, our Deputy President, Oleg Korob, decided to file an application on corruption and cover up of a criminal group by officials of the Prosecutor's office and the representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to Europol (File 31). He personally came to The Hague for this purpose. However, Europol not only refused to accept the application but also called the police to arrest Oleg Korob for filing this application.

The arrest of the R.D.E. deputy president took place in a public place on a pedestrian street near the Europol building. At Europol's request, the police acted harshly, handcuffing him and beating him on the head while being taken to the police station.

At the police station, Oleg Korob was placed in a cold cell without a coat, his vital cancer medications were taken away, and he was held there for about two hours. He told Europol officers and the police that he was feeling ill because he had stage 4 lung cancer, but this information only got a laughter from the officers, who continued to abuse him.

After Oleg Korob showed the application which he brought to Europol to the investigator, he was immediately liberated. However, the police refused to draw up a report of his detention, finding no legal grounds for it. Oleg Korob demanded that the report against the Europol employees be considered but was also refused.

Thus, Europol and The Hague police officers jointly carried out the unlawful arrest of Oleg Korob on a pedestrian street near the Europol building and openly abused the seriously ill man. They violated Articles 1, 2, 9, and 13 of the United Nation Universal Declaration of Human Rights and committed a criminal offense.

Oleg Korob, Deputy President of the R.D.E., filed a complaint with the European Ombudsman regarding the illegal actions of Europol and the Hague police (File 32). However, the European Ombudsman's response was inconsistent with the complaint and attempted to dismiss it in order to absolve Europol employees of responsibility (File 33).

Please note that in its response, the European Ombudsman does not defend the rights of Oleg Korob, Deputy President of the human rights organization R.D.E., which were grossly violated by Europol and the Hague police. Rather, it merely absolves Europol of responsibility, citing information from their website and cynically ignores the moral dimension of this disgusting act of hatred against a person of Russian nationality. Furthermore, the European Ombudsman shows no compassion for a terminally ill person and flouts universal human norms.

Oleg Korob filed a protest against the European Ombudsman's response (file 34) and after three months of ignoring his protest, he finally received a response in which the European Ombudsman suggested filing a complaint with Europol and, if Europol does not respond within a reasonable time, filing a new complaint with the European Ombudsman (file 48).

A complaint to Europol regarding the illegal actions of their employees was filed on March 14, 2025 (File 49), but despite Europol failing to respond to the complaint within a reasonable time, Oleg Korob reported this to the European Ombudsman on June 22, 2025 (File 60). Instead of holding Europol employees accountable, she contacted Europol herself and asked them to provide a response to the complaint (File 61).

Europol's response to the complaint was a completely unsubstantiated lie (File 62), countered by Oleg Korob's submission of tourist photographs taken on a public street in The Hague. These photographs clearly demonstrated that all the events that day took place not inside the Europol building, as Europol's Head of Corporate Security Department had written in her false response to the complaint, but on a public street in The Hague, where Europol had no right to call the police, much less order the arrest of a passerby. She failed to review the CCTV footage from that day of the incident and falsely accused Oleg Korob of disturbing the peace inside the Europol building, which in fact never occurred. This is also supported by the refusal of The Hague police to draw up an arrest report against Oleg Korob, which reliably demonstrates that Oleg Korob never broke any laws.

Moreover, after Oleg Korob provided irrefutable evidence of the Europol head of corporate security's lies and demanded CCTV footage from that day, the Europol head of corporate security and the European Ombudsman disappeared and have not responded to letters for four months. You can read the official accusation of lies against the Europol head of security and a detailed explanation of the true facts of the incident in files (63 and 64).

The disgusting and immoral actions of Europol officers not only caused irreparable physical and emotional harm to Oleg Korob but also discredited the honor of the Hague police. The cynical actions of the European Ombudsman literally trampled on the immutable principles of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights and exposed the vulnerability of individuals to official abuses fueled by xenophobic and nationalist prejudices.
